About Our School:
Led by Stacey Apatov, Success Academy Harlem 5 opened in 2010. With about 355 scholars, the school is located at 140th St. and Frederick Douglas Boulevard, just a block away from St. Nicholas Park and down the hill from City College. It is close to the 3 train 145 Street and B/C 135th Street stops.

Stacey Apatov, Leader of Success Academy Harlem 5
Before joining Success Academy Charter Schools, Stacey worked for Teach for America as a corps member and taught first grade in New York City. Stacey is excited to play a role in providing high quality education to all children and weave innovative teaching methods into the school’s curriculum. Stacey graduated with a degree in psychology and sociology from Emory University.
