About Our School:

Led by Vanessa Bangser, Success Academy Bronx 2 opened in 2010. With 352 scholars, Success Academy Bronx 2 moved into its permanent space at 450 Saint Paul’s Place in the 2012-2013 school year. It is near the BX15 and BX55 bus lines.

Vanessa Bangser, Leader of Bronx Success Academy 2

Before joining Success Academy Charter Schools, Vanessa worked for Teach for America in a school located in the Bronx. She then went on to work in several different positions within the school. After working as an Assistant Principal for Success Academy in Harlem, she helped found Success Academy Bronx 2 in 2010. Vanessa received her Ed.M from Bank Street College of Education.
