About Our School:
Led by Abigail Johnson, Success Academy Williamsburg opened in August of 2012. With 136 scholars, the school is located in South Williamsburg—a diverse and energetic community that believes all children deserve an excellent well-rounded education. It is near the B62 and Q59 bus lines.

Abigail Johnson, Leader of Success Academy Williamsburg
Before joining Success Academy Charter Schools, Abigail worked as a 2nd grade teacher in the Bronx and was a founding teacher at Success Academy Harlem 3. She is most passionate about making school a place of joy and excitement for scholars and capitalizing on the opportunity to develop a love of learning in every child. It is this love of learning that Abigail believes will motivate scholars all the way through college. Abigail graduated from Whitman College with a major in political science before earning a double Master's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
