About Our School:
Led by Andrea Klein, Success Academy Middle School Harlem West opened in August of 2012. With 178 scholars, the school is located on W. 114th St. in the Wadleigh Building. It is near the 2/3/B/C 116th Street stops. Success Academy Middle School West is proud to state that all of its scholars passed the state science test.

Our Principal:
Andrea Klein, Leader of Success Academy Middle School - Harlem West
Andrea worked as a 4th grade teacher in Newark, New Jersey before going on to become a founding 4th grade teacher at Harlem 1. She later joined the SA literacy team where she trained teachers and leaders and helped to develop the THINK Literacy Curriculum. She is most passionate about providing a rigorous world-class education that is possible for all. She is excited to implement and form a Success Academy Middle School design that will continue to ensure that scholars will attend and graduate from great colleges. Andrea graduated from Whitman College with a major in English before attending Seton Hall University Alternate Route Program, in partnership with Teach for America.
