About Our School:

We are excited to announce the opening of Success Academy Fort Greene in August of 2013. The school will start by serving with kindergarten and first grade scholars and will add a grade each year until it is a K-8 school. Located between Fort Greene Park and Brooklyn Navy Yards, the school will join the historic district that is known for its cultural icons such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Success Academy Fort Greene is easily reachable via several bus routes (B54, B57, B69, B62) and the B, Q/R subway lines at the DeKalb Avenue stop.

Why This Neighborhood:

Fort Greene is one of the most diverse and vibrant neighborhoods of NYC.

As the influx of families continues, schools in the community are strained.  There aren't enough high-quality options for parents, who shouldn't have to trek to other Brooklyn neighborhoods or spend $30,000+ on a private school in order to find excellence and rigor. 

Success Academy Fort Greene is opening to meet demand and provide families with one more excellent school option.
