Submission of an application does not guarantee enrollment. Acceptances will be made based on a lottery (K-6) or placement process (transition grades).

The application deadline for new scholars is April 1, 2024 at 11:59PM. Applications received after the deadline will be considered waitlist applications.
It should take approximately 5 minutes to complete the application; please complete it in one sitting.
There will be directions to guide you through all the steps; read them carefully and be sure to fill out all required fields as you proceed.
You must be a resident of New York State to apply to any Success Academy school.
Your child must be five years old on or before December 31, 2024 to apply to kindergarten.
There is NO fee to apply or attend a Success Academy school and nothing but this application is required.
Admission is determined by a lottery. Admission is not limited based on any factor, but returning students have admissions priority.
New students may be given a placement test, enrolled in summer school programs, or subject to other post-admission evaluations, in order to be placed in the appropriate academic grade, as determined by each school.
Additionally, a lottery preference is given to:
Siblings of current or accepted students
Children of Success Academy employees
Applicants who reside within the Community School District of a school they've applied to
English Language Learners (ELL) receive a weighted preference in the lottery.

A charter school shall not discriminate against or limit the admission of any student on any unlawful basis, including on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, race, creed, religion or ancestry. A school may not require any action by a student or family (such as admissions test, interview, essay, attendance at an information session, etc.) in order for an applicant to either receive or submit an application for admission to that school
