December Monthly Round-Up

It’s not only the end of 2014, it’s also the end of another exciting month at Success Academy. Click through for just a few of the highlights!

  1.  Success Academy parent and Achievement First CEO, Doug McCurry wrote a moving op-ed: Special-Ed Success: Making Hope Real For My Son. Read it in the New York Daily News.
  2. Our founder, Eva Moskowitz, spoke at the American Enterprise Institute. Visit their website to watch the video.
  3. We hosted our first Success Academy Hackathon! Learn more from our Computer Science Team and the scholars who participated here.
  4. Scholars from across our network competed in Colors of the Rainbow Ballroom Dance Competitions. Watch a video snapshot.
  5. The Success Academy Bronx 2 Dance Team won the Strut Ya Stuff Talent Contest – and then the team was featured on TV!
  6. After being featured on Humans of New York, Success scholar, Ibrahima, had the wonderful opportunity to visit Arup, a global engineering firm. Read the incredible story.
