On Monday, April 26 at 6:00 PM ET, our community will come together on behalf of children, the power of learning, and our mission of equity in education. We're thrilled to announce that Van Jones, CNN Host and Dream Corps founder, will join us as our Keynote Speaker. Meet our scholars, parents, teachers, leaders, and special guests. At a time when our city and our nation need great public schools more than ever, let’s plan for the future and celebrate our success.

Van Jones is a CNN political commentator, Emmy Award-winning producer, and a New York Times best-selling author. Jones has been a leader in the fight for criminal justice reform for more than 25 years. He has led many thriving social enterprises, including the REFORM Alliance, the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Color of Change, and the Dream Corps – a social justice accelerator which houses Dream Corps TECH, Green For All and Dream Corps JUSTICE (formerly #cut50).

About Success Academy

Success Academy is a network of free public K-12 schools open to all children in New York state through a random lottery. Now the sixth largest school district in New York state, Success Academy ranks first in academic achievement in the state. With 47 schools across Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens, Success Academy enrolls 20,000 students, primarily children of color from low-income households in disadvantaged neighborhoods. To date, 100% of SA’s graduates have been accepted to college, many to selective and highly selective institutions, with robust financial aid packages.
