On Monday, April 24, 2023, we celebrated the speed of “never been done before.”

We made a promise, and that promise is coming true — a level of scholar preparation no other public school system has ever attempted. We can’t wait to share all that we are working on — a new curriculum, new educator workforce development, a new school model, and growing the Success Academy Network.

Help us reinvent public education. Because we want our scholars to be ready to go for their own moonshots. We want them to be ready to take on the galaxies.

About Success Academy

Success Academy has created a national model of access to excellence for children across all demographics. Now the size of the state’s 5th largest school district, and among the top 10 school districts in the state in terms of student achievement, we currently enroll 20,000 children in our 53 elementary, middle, and high schools. Most of our scholars are children of color from low-income households in disadvantaged neighborhoods, admitted through a random public lottery. Collectively, Success Academy schools rank in the top 3% in math and top 5% in ELA of all New York State schools. Our district K-12 approach, designed as a holistic 13-year educational trajectory, leads to student outcomes that outpace most affluent suburban schools.
