A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Amelia Cohen joined Success Academy as an education manager in 2017. Prior to joining SA, she taught at a high school on the South Side of Chicago for three years. During her time teaching, Ms. Cohen also earned her master’s degree in special education from Dominican University. Ms. Cohen transitioned within the leadership team at SA Harlem East to the assistant principal role in 2019 before moving to SA Harlem 2 to fill the role of principal in 2021. During her tenure at SA Harlem East, she managed the talent team as well as all subjects in fifth, sixth, and eighth grade. Ms. Cohen enjoys cooking, being active, and spending time with her puppy, Luna!
