Eva Moskowitz Statement on 2017 NAEP Scores
New York, NYSuccess Academy CEO Eva Moskowitz today released the following statement on the results of the 2017 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) at New York City schools:
  "Unfortunately, New York has only widened the achievement gap over the last two years. A student of color in New York City is less than half as likely to have been taught to read or do math as a white student." The chart below shows the growing achievement gap between white students and students of color in New York City. All data is from The Nation's Report Card.
