Ms. Suliga joined Success Academy in 2013 as a founding teacher at SA Bronx 3, where she taught first through third grade for four years. In 2017, she was promoted to assistant principal and served in that role at both SA Bronx 3 and SA Washington Heights. Ms. Suliga became principal of SA Union Square in 2019 and SA Harlem 1 in 2021. Prior to joining SA, Ms. Suliga worked in both elementary and high school settings, providing students with academic and emotional counseling support. She also worked for a nonprofit that served populations affected by mental illness. She holds a B.A in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Tech and master’s degrees in School Counseling from George Washington and Elementary Education from Fordham University. In her spare time, Ms. Suliga enjoys practicing yoga and exploring the city with family and friends.
