Mr. Metzger began his Success Academy career in 2021 as a fifth-grade teacher at SA Harlem West, teaching fifth, sixth, and seventh grades. He went on to serve as sixth-grade team lead and seventh-grade senior grade team lead at SA Harlem East, before stepping into the assistant principal role at SA Ozone Park Middle School. Mr. Metzger holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in education from the University of Rhode Island. He is deeply committed to building a school community where both staff and scholars are driven to surpass expectations and achieve high levels of success. In his free time, Mr. Metzger loves reading, live music, and spending time with his family.
