Molly Cohen

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ms. Cohen earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. In 2011, she joined Teach For America in New York City, starting as an Associate Teacher at Success Academy Harlem 5. Over four years, she taught first and third grade in both general education and special education environments. In 2013, Ms. Cohen earned a master’s degree in childhood education from the Relay Graduate School of Education, and in 2015, became the Principal of SA Harlem 5. She is grateful to have the opportunity to lead the school where she began her teaching career, and looks forward to working with a community she cherishes in the years to come.
