Stories and insights on excellent education.

Happy Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for at Success Academy. At the very top of the list are our wonderful, smart, funny, creative, kind, and energetic scholars. From the youngest kindergarteners to our high school freshmen, our scholars inspire us daily. They are full of hope and possibility, full of laughter and the most wonderful surprises an adult can imagine. They teach us daily the delights of puzzling through problems, finding new friendships, and discovering the world.

We are thankful for our dedicated and talented faculty, who put children first in everything they do each and every day. I can think of nothing more important than the work of a great teacher or great school leader. They are our heroes. They are literally changing lives, guiding young hearts and minds, and inspiring incredible learning — while cleaning up spills, applying stickers and giving out hugs.

We are thankful, too, for our school and network staff – the strong foundation on which our schools are built. Success Academy could not flourish without them, as they work so diligently and believe so deeply in the importance of providing our scholars with a world-class education.

And finally, we are so thankful for our remarkable parents. We are deeply grateful that they have given us the opportunity to teach and learn with their children. The sacrifices they make for their scholars are beyond measure. They are our valued partners in educating children, and we could not succeed without all that they do.

So on the eve of the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to extend warmest thanks to all the members of the Success family. Thank you for all that you do, and most especially, thank you for the joy you share with us every day!!!
