Ms. Henningsen began her career with Success Academy in 2020 at SA Harlem 4, where she taught kindergarten and first grade. She then moved to SA Bushwick to teach kindergarten before transitioning to the assistant principal. Ms. Henningsen holds a bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology from St. John’s University and is deeply committed to ensuring that every scholar receives an academically rigorous and excellent education. In her spare time, Ms. Henningsen enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat, Lola, as well as working out and trying new foods.
From their very first day, scholars take part in art, music, chess, and athletics—built right into the school day and free for all families.
