Ms. Bishop joined Success Academy in 2013 as a first grade teacher at SA Fort Greene. As a first grade team leader, she helped coach associate teachers and improve their practice. Previously, she taught first grade and kindergarten for three years at public schools in Virginia. After teaching first grade for two years and third grade for one year at SA Fort Greene, Ms. Bishop served as a leadership resident at the school in 2016. She joined SA Williamsburg as an assistant principal for the in fall of 2016, and she became principal at SA Cobble Hill in 2017. Ms. Bishop holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in special education and mathematics from Radford University. She is committed to building a school community that brings a high-quality, joyful education to all scholars. Ms. Bishop enjoys spending time with her friends and family and exploring Brooklyn with her dog!
