Ms. Brown joined SA Harlem West in 2020 as a sixth-grade world history teacher and grade team lead, serving in that role for three years before moving to SA High School of the Liberal Arts-Harlem as an assistant principal and then dean of academics. Ms. Brown is thrilled to be back in a middle school setting, building a strong community at SA Rockaway Park Middle School. In her free time, Ms. Brown enjoys running marathons, walking her dog, and reading as many books as possible.
From their very first day, scholars take part in art, music, chess, and athletics—built right into the school day and free for all families.
