Ms. Hegge joined Success Academy in 2019, serving as a fourth-grade teacher at SA Bensonhurst before transitioning to school leadership. She currently also serves as principal of SA Bensonhurst/SA Sheepshead Bay. Prior to Success Academy, she was an eighth-grade ELA teacher and an educational director at Preschool of America. Ms. Hegge holds a bachelor’s degree in youth studies from CUNY Brooklyn and a master’s degree in youth studies from CUNY Graduate Center, and brings over ten years of educational experience providing innovative and stimulating learning environments for children and adults.
