Ms. Sierra joined Success Academy in 2015 as a kindergarten teacher at SA Fort Greene, where she went on to serve as a grade team lead, labsite teacher, and assistant principal. Ms. Sierra became the principal of SA Flatbush in 2020. Originally from Atlanta, Ms. Sierra holds a bachelors of science and a master’s in sociology from the University of West Georgia. After moving to New York, she earned a master’s in childhood education and special education from Touro Graduate School of Education. Outside of school, Ms. Sierra loves reading and spending time with her two nieces.
